Capability Building and Governance

We strengthen the skills, competencies and abilities of our researchers, staff, farmers, and other stakeholders through the following activities to build and enhance their knowledge and skills: a) the conduct of Seminars/trainings, and b) sending CMA to participate in trainings conducted by PCAARRD and other agencies. Our CMAs also conducted capability building for our researchers aside from the capability buildings coordinated by the consortium.

We strengthen our programs, projects, and linkages through the continuous support of our working groups. The Regional R&D Coordinating Council (RRDCC) has vigorously and continuously performing its function as the policy making body of the consortium. The Regional R&D Group (RRDG) paves the way for the formulation of our Regional Science and Technology Agenda. The Regional Technology Transfer Group (RTTG) disseminates the generated and matured technologies, information and breakthrough in AANR packaged through IEC, ICT materials as well as spearheads the conduct of capacity building, and techno transfer and promotion modalities; and the Regional Knowledge Management Group (RKMG), which leads in making information available to stakeholders anytime and anywhere, packages knowledge products and services, and maintaines in-house information system or data base that serves as support to functions of R&D management and information needs of various users in regional and national R&D network.
