Priority Commodities

We package regional proposals and monitor R&D activities funded by PCAARRD, DA-BAR, and CHED. Likewise, the consortium collaborates with its member agencies’ R&D activities to share resources and expertise. We focus on the priority commodities of the Consortium in conducting and formulating different researches in the region. The Consortium prioritizes on following commodities.

Livestock & Poultry ( Carabao, Goat/ Sheep, Native Chicken/ Pig, Cattle )

Legumes ( Peanut, Cowpea/ mungbean)

Fishery Products (Bangus, Siganid, Seaweed, Sea cucumber, Salt and Shellfish)

Bulb/Spices (Garlic, Onion and Ginger )

Root Crops ( Ube, Camote, and Yam )

Tropical fruits (Dragon fruits, Mango, Bignay and Rambutan )

Forestry ( Bamboo, and Watershed)
